Guidance for the Grasshopper

Through God all things are possible. Man was created in God’s image, so we are like God but we ARE NOT THE CREATOR. I said it once I’ll say it again. This means that nothing is impossible for One to accomplish whether within or in the world.

I never thought I’d see the day that my brother would help me see the way. Give me guidance.
He’s always been my ultimate comfort and I realize everyday how strong of a person he is. If I don’t have anyone in this world I know for a fact that I’ll have him. He is so many things I cannot describe. He is more than special to me and I praise the Creator for blessing me with a brother such as he.

I’ve been falling down and picking myself back up so many times in these pass few days. This last fall was a hard fall, but my brother picked me up and dusted me off and pointed me back in the right direction. The outside world is so demon filled. The people in it only feed the bad wolf and never the good wolf within. If the good wolf is fed it isn’t much. People will make you their punching bag because they hold in so much turmoil that when they blow even the things that have nothing to do with you come spilling out. If you take it in and become so affected, evil wins.
India Arie said it best in one of my favorite songs Get it Together. The line goes:

One shot to your heart without breaking your skin. No one has the power to hurt you like your kin.

(Much more of the words that follow fit the situation, but I won’t get into it just listen to it lol.)

DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF NO MATTER WHO ELSE HAS.

My brother is into video games heavy. So, to pick me up we played some cool games. He showed me a game for Play station 3 called “Journey.” This game was amazing. The sand glittered. The scene was serene and peaceful. The sun was beautiful in day and the moon was at night. There was not much direction. The player has to figure out what to do and where to go on their own. A lot of your direction comes from following the light. You stop at many points to sit and read tablets. You sit with crossed legs in a light and a tall figure that looks like you shows you what took place in that land that you are traveling through. The people there were building machines. There were cloth creatures that gave the people energy, strength, light and flight. These same cloth creatures help you along the way. You find out that the people became greedy and want the cloth creatures for themselves and they turned against each other. They fight with these machines they built against each other in war above their own land. This is why the land is in ruin. At many points you pass these small stone obelisk that come from the ground. In certain places there are fields of them. These are graves of the people. You are journeying to a mountain that is way in the distance with a light shooting from the top. This is a mountain you see from the start of the game. The peace is kept through your journey for much of the time. You run across a few lone strangers that help you along the way. They are random and different each time you run across one. In my journey, I met 3 of them. There is a time when you must dodge these evil machines the people of the land had created. There is even another time when you are exposed to extreme weather conditions and it becomes hard for you to travel across the land and then you have to dodge the creatures while trying to get through the winds and snow. I even got attacked by one of the creatures and my scarf got torn. The scarf you wear becomes elongated throughout your journey. When you find a certain light your scarf extends. It helps you to move faster and helps you to fly. It gets it’s energy from the cloth creatures that aid you in your quest. Also, when you and another player are near each other you two can fly forever without having to re-energize because you feed off of each other’s energy. You help each other fly higher with this energy as well. There comes a point in your journey where you have come so far and you can see the mountain getting closer. The weather conditions are worsening and you’re tired and frosty and you pass out. It looks like you died lol. Then, either 3 or 4 of those figures like the one that showed you the story of the land through activating the tablets, revive you and show you the story of your journey. Each obstacle you face and your friends you’ve met along the way.  The last depiction is of you kneeling down I guess when you fell. And then you shoot up into the sky, but you have to keep flying and can’t stop. The creatures you have dodged are in the beam you’re shooting through as well but you just keep going up. You come to a beautiful place in the sky where the cloth creature flow freely. The sky is blue and you are on your way up to the mountain you’ve been approaching since the start of the game. You get to the mountain. You think about how many of those grave obelisk you’ve seen. They were fewer and fewer as you got further and further and closer to the mountain. You had made it and they didn’t. You walk through the mountain into the light and disappear. Then it showed a light shooting through the sky like a star backwards from the journey you had made. My brother turned to me and said, “Remember that light is you.”  And the light ends up back at start where you began.I swear with everything in me I was so amazed. My brother had reinstated a valuable lesson within me. My younger brother was my teacher in that moment. He’d showed me this game on purpose. He’s very intuitive my gosh lol.

This is life. It gets hard. Everyday won’t be easy. You may feel lost. You may meet a few people along the way to help you. Things or people may knock you down and hurt you. There is beauty in your journey. You are the light that makes it to the mountain top, but you have to stay strong and determined. Divine intervention is an aid when you’ve done everything in your power to move on. The universe is on your side. Just keep going forward to that mountain. Then life will end and begin again. Peace within me has been restored and instilled by my brother who I love dearly. Namaste.
